Monkey Gods Forums Rules of Conduct

In general, be civil. These forums are designed to answer questions about issues with your Monkey Gods Games. There may be more than one solution to a problem, so if you disagree with someone, don't be mean about it. Many users of these forums are relatively new to the online game space and many questions may be asked more than once. If you see a repeated question/answer, please refer that post to the original thread.

Use common sense judgment about whether or not your reply to any thread is on topic. Failure to comply with the basic rules of this forum will result in actions by forum staff including removal/editing of the offending post. Repeated violations may result in actions on your account, including temporary/permanent removal of your account from these forums.

These rules are subject to change without notice, and are governed by the Monkey Gods Terms of Service, located at http://www.monkeygods.com/terms_of_service. The rules shall apply to any post made in any forum under the direct control of forum staff, as well as user signatures, avatars and where applicable, Personal Messages. Any questions about the rules may be directed by Personal Message to any forum staff member.

Specific rules, in no particular order:

• Use a valid e-mail when registering for this forum. Accounts found with invalid emails will be deleted. No forum staff member or administrator will ever use your email address for anything unrelated to your participation on these forums.
  
• Refrain from post spamming. Do not start threads or post simply to watch your post count rise. Do not create identical threads across multiple forums. If you need to get the attention of forum staff, simply send one of them a Personal Message.
  
• Do not advertise on these forums. Any offers made to sell goods or services to other users on these forums are prohibited. Likewise, do not ask to buy goods or services from other forum users.
  
• Do your best to search the forums before creating new topics. If multiple very similar topics pop up on the forums, an admin may lock one or more to keep the clutter down.
  
• Stay on topic. This is a forum made for and by gamers, and the discussion is expected to stick to that topic as much as possible. Posting large amounts of off-topic material will absolutely get your posts locked or deleted.
  
• Do not flagrantly mock, threaten or taunt other forum users.
  
• Observe common Internet etiquette when posting. This means no posting in ALL CAPS, no vulgar or disparaging language and no distasteful or obscene imagery or video. Don't even link the stuff. We run a 'PG' game environment and we expect these forums to be accessible to the young audiences who play them.
  
• Do not attempt to circumvent actions taken by administrators or forum staff who enforce the forum rules. Do not create multiple accounts in an attempt to get around infractions. If your thread gets locked or your posts deleted, do not try to post a new one just like it.
  
• Do not backseat moderate. If you see a post or Personal Message that violates these rules, please send a PM to a forum staff member. Do not reply to an offending post with unconstructive nagging about forum rules. Use good judgment as to whether or not something is in violation of these rules.
  
• Do not post personally identifiable information about yourself or others on these forums such as home addresses and phone numbers. This is as much to protect your safety as it is your privacy.

If you feel like you or your posts have been inappropriately moderated, please send a message directly to forum administrators. It is up to forum administrators what if any actions are appropriate from that stage.

It is our goal to keep these forums a lively and friendly place to discuss with your fellow gamers. Please cooperate with this spirit when in the company of your fellow forum members. We're all here to have fun after all!
